Andy began his career as a teacher at Aspen Ranch in Loa before transitioning into special education and homeless services with Granite School District while earning a master’s degree in school counseling. Since returning to Sanpete County in 2004, he has served students at Manti High School, Gunnison Valley High School, Central Utah Academy (prison education), North Sanpete High School, Pleasant Creek School (Alternative/YIC), and Snow College for the past 22 years. Andy has held roles including classroom teacher, school counselor, instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, adult education director, district program administrator, and adjunct college professor. Andy translates his professional expertise into his most important role, at home. As a father of three, he and his wife are daily practitioners of conflict resolution, time management, and the art of being in multiple places at once.
