CUES Intern Regional Computer Repair Technician

The Intern Computer Repair Technician will function under the computer repair Technician. The Intern technician assists school districts with repairs and safety procedures for local school sites.

The intern repair technician must have the ability to work with multi-platforms and operating systems and have high interpersonal and managerial skills. A working knowledge of networks and file servers, and training and experience in repair of Windows, Chromebooks, and Apple hardware and related peripherals is required to be learned.

The intern repair technician is an hourly employee that will be offered competitive pay for the area. This intern computer repair will have the potential to become a full time hourly position with potential future areas of growth. Open till filled

CUES Repair Center:

  1. Repairs Apple, Windows, Chromebooks, and peripherals.
  2. Assists in the setup of new computers and peripherals.
  3. Keeps an inventory of parts needed to effectively run the service center.
  4. Maintains a database on equipment cleaned and repaired through CUES.
  5. Assists the districts and/or private contractor in wiring of Networks.
  6. Responds to districts as needed for emergency on-site repair.
  7. Invoices the districts as needed for repair at cost plus shipping.
  8. Operates a hot line for technical assistance to school districts.
  9. Maintains a database of symptoms and what was done to repair item.
  10. Assists in trouble shooting and repairing Network problems.
  11. Maintains tools and equipment needed for operation of the repair center.
  12. Transports equipment to and from schools via the CUES Media Delivery.
  13. Must be able to qualify as an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT)
  14. Maintains parts ordering software.
